HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY to SINGAPORE!!!

once again is the time of the year to celebrate the independence day of singapore. the day when most of the singaporeans show off their patriotism esp. at the national day parade…

i think this will be only the day when all singaporeans show off the partiotism bah…was surprised that most ppl on the street were wearing red to celebrate the DAY.

heard from a radio  forum programme this morning abt national day celebration…one fo the guest…compared it to "one night stand" type of feeling…something thats gives us a "HIGH’ feeling…haha…abit apt…esp when u see everyone at the parade…very excited…

can’t believe it national day is coming so soon…went to view the 1st day for the fireworks diaplay at the marina bay…met junhan…and another of his friend at merlion park to view…

its my 1st time to see live fireworks display actually…quite excited…managed to video reocred 2 short clips on my digi cam…but cos wasn’t near the fireworks disply so the fireworks looks small…

…ahhhh…

haiz sch starting next monday just b4 national day..actually quite sianz esp when the hols have been so long…haha

balloted for my thesis project tutor liaoz but dunnoe the results yet…hopefully i can get my 1st choice…anyway…the sch think we r superman or wat…we also got to hand in our project brief too…think will have to change or amend when the tutor is balloted and as the semester proceed…haha (as usual)

still got the dissertation somemore…and the deadline has been postpone to 31 october…phew…got more time to work on it (or more like i can slack more?)… haha…

well nothing surprising for last nite elimination for the 绝对superstar semi-finals round 2.

well jason and candyce is out from the race…but kind of expected it laioz…cos the contestants are getting lesser…expected for the males either weilian or jason to be eliminated and for the gals…either candyce or silver…but i would prefer silver…haha

last nite results show was quite touching esp when weilian got in and jason was eliminated…could see how close is their friendship between jason n weilian loh…so 温馨…weilian cried when jason was eliminated and also when jason was recalling his grandma…

candyce was quite poor thing as in when she said she broke up with her bf during the competition…but she din show it during the competition on stage…hope they can patch up…hmmm…haha sound so kaypoh…

finally i maange to watch mysterious skin. after hearing quite a good review form zhijian (he said he was quite traumatize by the show). its quite a good movie, the plot is quite depressing. how the 2 boys cos of a certain event in life, eventually leads them to 2 different paths. how a tormenting event can affect people differently psychological. . .

tonite finally managed to catch the 绝对 superstar show live. got the ticket form my aki senior (junyang’s nanhua n sajc’s senior). the fans r very crazy…haha…the whistles n screaming nearly deafened my ears…well shouldn’t say much abt the show now if not will spoil the fun for most of u when watching the show tmrw nite on channel u…but jason sure danced funnily…haha (btw realised how the go abt doing recorded show)

now i need to think of wat to do for my design thesis project (the brief, etc)…n which tutor to choose for my design thesis…hmmm…wonder how to go abt doing it…haiz…

the 1st round of semi finals for 绝对 superstar is over now liaoz. Overall i think the guys did much better than the gals, their vocals improved much more than the gals.

Junyang did a good job on the 2 songs, although his dance was quite comical. Anyway i think most of the guys can’t dance for NUTS. haha Derrick fast song was the most enjoyable to me i feel… Jason rap…hmmm like story telling to me…keke

the gals i think only kelly was good the rest like quite weak. silver n ruth pitching got alot of probs loh…haha..although they r cute lah…candyce n xinhui vocals aren’t powerful enuf was quite weak

anyway weichong n ruth was elimanted last nite. quite a pity for weiching cos he did quite well…well think Jason got more supporters than him lah cos Jason cuter than him? but he’s quite sad…faile dthe 2nd attempt at such star search competiton…

well lets see how they perform next week for the old songs new style
